How I work
I can’t find any better analogy than one written by acclaimed therapist Irvin Yalom who views the relationship between therapist and client as “fellow travellers”. We are fellow travellers through the many issues that bring clients to therapy. These issues can be disillusionment, illness, ageing, transitional periods in life, isolation, loss, meaninglessness death, grief and painful choices.
I work with Individuals, Couples and families and together we explore what is happening in the present. As a therapist my job is to reflect on our conversations and point out things that you may not be aware of. Our conversations will also reflect on your past and make connections with how your history impacts on your behaviours today.
Our goal is self-awareness so you, the client, can make changes and find solutions that work for you.
My Fee: $120 for an hour session.
